Jewelry Designer

As a Manual Jewellery Designer, your role will involve creating unique and high-quality jewellery designs through hand sketches. You should have strong artistic skills, an eye for aesthetics, and a deep understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, trends, and materials. - Create original hand-sketched jewellery designs based on brand guidelines and market trends. - Collaborate with merchandising and product development teams to conceptualize new collections. - Develop detailed design drawings with accurate measurements and proportions. - Select appropriate gemstones, metals, and embellishments for each design. - Revise sketches based on feedback from design and production teams. - Stay updated on fashion and jewellery trends to ensure competitive designs. - Coordinate with CAD designers to translate manual sketches into technical designs. - Ensure designs meet production feasibility, quality standards, and cost guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or related field. - 15 years of proven experience as a manual jewellery designer in the fine jewellery industry. - Excellent freehand drawing and sketching skills. - Strong understanding of gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery manufacturing techniques. - Creativity with attention to detail and proportion. - Good communication and collaboration skills.
