Job Summary:

Jewelry CAD Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop

  3D CAD models

  of jewelry designs using software like

  Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, ZBrush, or 3Design

  .
• Convert

  2D sketches or conceptual ideas

  into detailed 3D renderings and technical drawings.
• Ensure the designs meet

  manufacturing and gemstone setting

  standards.
• Work closely with jewelry designers, artisans, and production teams to

  modify and improve designs

  .
• Create

  photo-realistic renders

  for client approvals and marketing purposes.
• Understand and apply

  metal weight, gemstone placement, prong settings, and casting requirements

  .
• Review designs for

  structural integrity, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness

  .
• Keep up-to-date with

  industry trends, materials, and technologies

  in jewelry design.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma

  in Jewelry Design, CAD Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

• Proficiency in CAD software

  such as Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, or 3Design.
• Strong

  understanding of jewelry production processes

  , including casting, stone setting, and finishing.
• Knowledge of

  various gemstones, metals, and jewelry-making techniques

  .
• Ability to interpret

  hand-drawn sketches and translate them into precise 3D models

  .
• Experience in

  rendering software

  like KeyShot or V-Ray is a plus.
• Strong

  attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills

  .
• Ability to

  work under tight deadlines

  and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Portfolio of previous CAD designs is required.
