Jewellery Designer Cum Merchandiser

Role & responsibilities Create original and trend-forward jewellery designs, including sketches, CADs, and prototypes. Designing (manual sketching) as per customers given design concept, given gold weight or diamond weight requirement Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable within quality and budget specifications. Drafting manual design with proper diamond calculations and metal weight details and product dimensions. Research and incorporate current jewellery trends, materials, and gemstones into new collections. Analyze market trends and customer preferences to influence design direction and collections. Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and manage the flow of inventory. Set pricing strategies for designs based on cost analysis and competitive pricing. Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure designs are promoted effectively and meet sales targets . Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in CAD software Strong knowledge of materials, gemstones, and jewellery-making techniques. Ability to work creatively while considering production constraints and market needs. Good understanding of merchandising, pricing, and inventory management. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Any other works assigned by the Superiors from time to time.
