Java Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

Backend & Microservices Development

• Design, develop, and maintain

  microservices using Java and Spring Boot

  .
• Build clean, scalable, and secure

  RESTful APIs

  for web and mobile applications.
• Implement service-to-service communication and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Follow domain-driven design and microservices best practices.
  

Database & Data Management

• Design and optimize

  PostgreSQL

  schemas, queries, and indexes.
• Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and transactional consistency.
• Work with ORM frameworks such as

  Hibernate / JPA

  .

Quality, Performance & Security

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following coding standards.
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and API tests.
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, and error handling.
  

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and solution architects.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in cloud or containerized environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Java and Spring Boot

  .
• Solid understanding of

  microservices architecture

  and REST API design.
• Experience working with

  PostgreSQL

  .
• Familiarity with

  Spring Data JPA, Hibernate

  , and SQL optimization.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization (

  Docker, Kubernetes

• Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka).
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
  
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
