Java Team Lead

You will be working as a Java Team Lead with 8-10 years of experience in Gurugram (5 days WFO). Your responsibilities will include expertise in Java and Spring Boot microservices, knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and ensuring high performance and observability on API services. You should have experience in API Gateway and Service Mesh for secured, scalable, and resilient deployment of microservices, leveraging REST principles for producing and consuming Restful web services. Moreover, integrating with backend services like JMS, ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA, etc.), JDBC, and performing database design and optimization with Relational and NoSQL Databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB is essential. Proficiency in understanding databases, familiarity with containerization tools, knowledge of orchestration platforms, experience with API design, understanding of microservices patterns and principles, and working with Distributed Streaming Technology like Apache Kafka for Producing, Consuming, and Streaming the Events are required. You will also be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing server infrastructure using AWS, participating in code reviews to maintain code quality, expertise in code branching strategy for continuous delivery, experience in WebSockets and third-party integrations, and working with Gradle as a build tool and GitLab as Source Control around continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure. Your role will involve deploying applications in container-based APIs using container frameworks like Docker or Kubernetes, utilizing CI/CD tools to automate tests, automatic build, and deployment to production, collaborating with QA engineers to ensure software quality, and working closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers. You should have the ability to innovate, a hunger for excellence, be a great team player, assertive to voice opinions, possess a good academic pedigree, and have a love for continuous learning. Your responsibilities will also include contributing to building the roadmap, building complete systems (multiple modules), being accountable for quality in development and testing, owning production support for applications developed, estimation prioritization, understanding requirements, contributing to design, translating designs into efficient code, and using tools to automate tests and deployment to production.,
