Java Spring Boot developer

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Spring Boot Developer to support and enhance high-performance microservices in a distributed environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud-based application development, with a passion for building scalable and reliable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and enhance Java Spring Boot microservices in a distributed and scalable architecture.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs ensuring security, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, developers, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality application features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and integration issues in microservices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best coding practices and standards.
• Optimize microservice performance for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and contribute to automation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to microservices, design, and integrations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, monitoring, and DevOps alignment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Strong experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Excellent understanding of core Java, Spring Boot modules, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD processes, and basic cloud deployment concepts.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Kibana).
