Java Lead

As a Lead Java Developer in this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Java. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver APIs and integrations. - Ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and secure development principles. - Driving performance optimization, system scalability, and troubleshooting complex issues. - Mentoring and guiding junior developers, performing code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement. - Participating in architecture reviews and providing technical leadership in solution design. To excel in this role, you should possess strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture. Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of RESTful API design and implementation, experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.). Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP will be an added advantage. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 9 years of professional experience in Java-based development, with proven experience in leading a team or playing a technical lead role. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are also required. This is a contractual/temporary position with a contract length of 6 months.
