Java FullStack Developer

As a Java Full Stack Lead at Ness, a full lifecycle digital engineering firm, you will be responsible for leading a talented team of engineers (DEV&QA) in delivering high-quality enterprise applications/systems. Your role will involve demonstrating high technical acumen, solution design capability, and hands-on expertise in developing technical solutions for complex business requirements. You will play a crucial role in providing technical guidance, fostering collaborative team dynamics, and ensuring successful development and delivery of applications. Your core responsibilities will include: - Delivering business value through application development and enhancements. - Owning assignments from gathering requirements to code management. - Evaluating, planning, and guiding technical direction and architecture decisions. - Mentoring and guiding the development team through design, estimation, development, and testing. - Conducting code reviews, maintaining coding standards, and driving continuous improvement. - Inspiring a positive work culture and fostering a collaborative environment. - Staying updated with industry trends and guiding the team in selecting appropriate technologies. - Collaborating effectively with business and cross-functional partners. - Contributing to product planning and release activities. - Demonstrating strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Your core skills should include: - 9+ years of experience in Java J2EE, spring technologies/frameworks, and tools. - Strong experience with Microservices, Spring Boot, Rest API, and JPA. - Proficiency in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Minimum 2 years of experience with REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Redux, and Flux. - Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Mocha and Jest. - Understanding of system design principles for scalable and high-performance solutions. - Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Web logic, Tomcat, and Cloud-based platforms. - Working knowledge of Dev-Ops tools like Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development practices. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related field, along with proven experience in an Engineering role. Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience in an Engineering/Technical lead role. Any experience in building applications for the financial industry would be a plus.
