Role Overview: As an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst at our company, you will play an intermediate role in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas - Monitor and control all phases of development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation while providing user and operational support to business users - Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, evaluate business and system processes, and make sound judgments - Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality - Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and assist in installing customer exposure systems - Ensure essential procedures are followed, define operating standards and processes, and serve as an advisor to new or lower level analysts - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercise independence of judgment, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members - Assess risks when making business decisions, demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation, safeguard Citigroup, its clients and assets, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Qualifications: - 7-10 years of relevant experience as a Java Full Stack application development engineering lead utilizing Java, Spring, Multithreading, and ReactJS - Hands-on coding experience and experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications - Extensive expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Micro Services based architecture, and Database Management systems like Oracle and Mongo - Proficiency in front end technologies such as React JS, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, React, Redux, RTK, Cypress, Storybook, and Vitest - Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including understanding of complex types, interfaces, and generics, responsive web design, CSS, and backend frameworks like node.js and Java Spring boot APIs - Knowledge of restful web services, data interchange formats such as JSON, Protobuf, gRPC, and ability to adjust priorities quickly - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description is a brief overview of the responsibilities and qualifications expected from you in this role.
