Core Responsibilities Description System Architecture Design and evolve backend and frontend architecture across services and micro-frontends Hands-on Development Lead critical POCs, unblock complex coding problems, conduct code reviews (~3050% hands-on) Java Stack Leadership Architect APIs, microservices using Java & Spring Boot, drive backend performance and security React & Frontend Ownership Architect and scale React-based frontend using micro-frontends, GraphQL, and SDUI Tech Strategy Define frameworks, patterns, tools, and enforce SOLID design principles Mentorship & Reviews Mentor developers, guide tech leads, and ensure code quality via architecture reviews Collaboration Work with product managers, infra, security, and dev teams to translate vision into design Technical Skills Java 11+/17, Spring Boot ReactJS (Hooks, Redux) AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Athena, Glue RESTful APIs, Microservices Micro-frontend architecture Kafka, Git, Jenkins, Docker SQL & NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) GraphQL, SDUI principles CI/CD, DevOps collaboration Performance tuning, Security Component-driven design, reusable UI Logging tools Splunk, Datadog Technical Depth vs Breadth Depth : High across fullstack technologies (Java & React) Breadth : Medium — spans cloud, DevOps, performance, and SDLC governance Hands-on Involvement : Moderate (~30–50%) in both Java and React Coding Focus : POCs, technical spikes, critical code reviews, selective modules Collaboration & Decision-Making Medium to high stakeholder interaction (especially with leads, architects, and infrastructure) Strategic technical influence within system/component-level boundaries Works closely with senior engineers and business/product stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) 12+ years in software engineering with deep fullstack exposure Prior experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments AWS certification is a plus
