Java / Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview: Wipro Limited is seeking passionate and experienced Full Stack Engineers with strong Java expertise to join the newly formed Engineering Shop in Costa Rica. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be an integral part of an agile scrum team tasked with delivering high-performance applications in a modern, cloud-native environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications - Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices - Implement responsive UIs using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) - Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices - Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features on time - Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality - Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and cloud deployment Qualification Required: - 4+ years of experience in Java backend development (Java 8+) - Strong understanding of Spring/Spring Boot framework - Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript - Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) - Knowledge of RESTful services and microservices architecture - Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes - Agile/Scrum methodology experience - Good communication skills in English Preferred: - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience Additional Details: Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO) is a leading technology services and consulting company focused on building innovative solutions that address clients" most complex digital transformation needs.
