Java Engineer

The Java Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications with a strong focus on Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions that meet business and customer needs. Your role will involve application development, system architecture design, code quality maintenance, database management, effective collaboration and communication, troubleshooting, and support. In application development, you will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Java, modern JavaScript frameworks, and RESTful APIs. You will also work on front-end interfaces and integrate with third-party services and databases, emphasizing high-performance applications using the Vert.x framework. For system architecture, you will work with architects and engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components, contributing to scalable and secure software architectures. You will also focus on writing clean, efficient code, performing code reviews, and implementing automated testing processes. In terms of database management, you will design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries, working with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance optimization. Effective collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role, as you will work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. You will also participate in agile development processes and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Troubleshooting technical issues across the application stack, providing support and maintenance for existing applications, and continuously monitoring and improving application performance are also part of your responsibilities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: - 5-7 years of experience in full-stack web development. - Proven experience with Java development, web technologies, and Vert.x framework. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate. - Strong knowledge of front-end technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks. - Experience with RESTful API design and development. - Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems. - Familiarity with version control systems and build tools. - Expertise in developing high-performance, scalable applications using the Vert.x framework. Additional Skills: - Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud) is advantageous.,
