Java Engineer

As an experienced Java Engineer at ESK Technologies in Chennai, you will be a core member of an agile team responsible for driving user story analysis, elaboration, and designing responsive web applications using the best engineering practices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Hands-on software development, focusing on writing code, unit tests, proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints - Continuous refactoring of code and delivering improvements - Developing a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms - Managing your own time, working independently and collaboratively as part of a team - Bringing a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement - Challenging the status quo, taking risks, and implementing creative solutions - Working closely with product managers, back-end, and other front-end engineers to implement versatile solutions to web development challenges - Embracing emerging standards, promoting best practices, and consistent framework usage Qualifications required for this role: - BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar technical discipline with 3-4 years of work experience - 5+ years of experience working in Java, with good knowledge of Java 11 or above - Demonstrated proficiency in web fundamentals and HTTP protocol - Positive attitude, strong communication skills, willingness to learn and collaborate - 2-3 years of experience in developing Java applications using frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Dropwizard - 3+ years of experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices, various testing methodologies, and testing frameworks including Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, JUnit, and Mockito - 5+ years of experience working in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment - 5+ years of experience working in an Agile or SAFe development environment Join ESK Technologies to be part of a dynamic team where you can contribute your expertise in Java development and collaborate on innovative solutions.,
