Java Developer with Angular

As a Java Developer at Virtual Connect Solutions, you will be responsible for developing high-quality Java applications and building responsive web applications using Angular. You will collaborate closely with front-end and back-end developers, integrate RESTful APIs into applications, and debug and troubleshoot existing code. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, participating in code reviews, and recommending improvements to enhance application quality. In addition, you will develop and execute unit tests to ensure application functionality, work closely with project managers to meet deadlines, and stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. You will document development processes, maintain technical documentation, and participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning. Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices and collaborating with UX/UI teams to enhance user experience will also be part of your responsibilities. Supporting and updating existing applications as needed will round out your duties in this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have proven experience as a Java Developer. Strong knowledge of Angular and its core principles, experience with RESTful APIs integration, and familiarity with SQL and database management are essential qualifications. An understanding of Agile software development methodologies, knowledge of version control systems (preferably Git), and the ability to write clean and reusable code are also required. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork and communication abilities, experience with unit testing frameworks, and the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are highly valued traits for this role. Experience in deploying applications to production environments will be an advantage.
