Java Developer & Support

Role Summary:A dual-role involving both backend development and application support. Responsible for implementing new features while ensuring the stability and performance of production systems. This role also includes participating in a rotational night support schedule to handle critical issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend features and services.
• Monitor and support production systems, investigating, debugging and resolving issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and propose long-term fixes.
• Respond to support tickets, logs, and alerts as part of the support workflow.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure system reliability.
• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of support processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher) and the Java ecosystem (Spring, JDBC Template, etc.).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles (OOP, design patterns, etc.).
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with issue troubleshooting, log analysis, and support workflows.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

• Bhilai, Chhattisgarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
