Java Developer

Role Overview: BNP Paribas India Solutions is seeking a JAVA programmer/developer to contribute to application development, enhancements, maintenance, and support activities for multiple applications across all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases. As a part of the team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and supporting applications while adhering to project and organization standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, support, and enhance applications, including bug-fixing. - Collaborate with functional and technical project team members to understand business functionalities, technical modules, integration mechanisms, and data sources. - Prepare and conduct various types of testing, such as Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance, and Functional Testing. - Contribute to improving architecture, designing efficient solutions, and documenting designs using UML diagrams and models. - Participate in peer code reviews, peer module testing, and escalate issues to the Team Lead as needed. - Ensure adherence to project and organization standards throughout the software development life cycle. - Estimate efforts, schedule various modules, and meet deadlines effectively. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education level. - At least 5 years of experience in Java programming. - Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Framework, Microservices, Angular (Good to have), Git, Oracle SQL, PLSQL, Basics of Unix. - Knowledge of Tomcat/webserver configuration. - Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, SonarQube, Nexus, Fortify (Good to have).
