Job Description

As a Senior Java Product Developer at BMC's AMI Cloud family, you will play a vital role in designing and developing platform solutions based on Java/J2EE best practices and web standards. Your contributions will be crucial in all aspects of product development, from requirements analysis to product release. You will lead features, participate in architecture and design reviews, and design enterprise platforms using agile methodology. Your responsibilities will include developing high-scale and performant applications running on both z/OS mainframe and cloud environments. You will focus on technology, performance, readable and clean code, and developer productivity. Your strong diagnostics, debugging, and troubleshooting skills will be essential in solving complex problems and ensuring product quality. To excel in this role, you should have over 10 years of experience in application development using Java, RESTful services, high-performance, and multi-threading. Familiarity with DevOps tools and concepts, web-based environments, build tools, cloud technologies, and modern Java-based frameworks is required. Additionally, experience with CI/CD environments, Agile methodology, and advanced IDEs is beneficial.
