IVR Tester

As an IVR Tester with 4-6 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless performance of Interactive Voice Response systems and delivering exceptional customer experiences as part of our dynamic Quality Assurance team. Your responsibilities will include leading and executing comprehensive manual IVR testing throughout the software development lifecycle, encompassing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. You will design, develop, and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and data for complex IVR call flows, prompts, integrations, and self-service functionalities. Rigorously validating DTMF inputs and outputs, ensuring accurate recognition, routing, and system responses will be a key part of your role. You will also test speech recognition accuracy and performance, along with text-to-speech pronunciation and voice quality to ensure clarity and natural sound. Your expertise will be utilized in analyzing system logs, call traces, network packets, and performance metrics to identify root causes of defects. You will document, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools, providing clear insights to development teams. Collaboration with business analysts, product owners, and development teams to refine acceptance criteria and translate requirements into robust test scenarios is essential. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing IVR testing methodologies, strategies, and best practices to optimize efficiency and overall product quality. Your technical skills should include extensive experience in manual IVR testing, a profound understanding of call flow design principles, expertise in DTMF recognition, and knowledge of core telephony concepts. Proficiency with test case management tools, defect tracking tools, API testing tools, and various testing methodologies is expected. Experience with automation tools such as Cyara Automation Tool and scripting languages for automated test execution will be advantageous. Basic understanding of SQL, network protocols, and XML/JSON for data validation is also required. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with 4-6 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on IVR testing.
