Position : ITI Fitter Packaging Machinery Company : Astral Adhesives Limited Location : Dahej, Gujarat Experience : 1–4 years Qualification : ITI Fitter (Packaging / Mechanical Maintenance) Industry Preference : FMCG, Adhesives, Chemicals, Packaging Industry About the Role: Astral Adhesives is hiring an experienced ITI Fitter for its packaging machinery operations at the Dahej plant . The candidate will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of high-speed packaging machinery. Candidates with prior experience in FMCG or chemical packaging lines will be given preference. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on packaging machinery (such as filling, sealing, labeling, and wrapping machines). Assist in mechanical adjustments, part replacements, and performance checks. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime. Machine Setup & Operation Support: Support machine setup and changeovers during product shifts. Ensure smooth operation of packaging lines during production. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spares usage records. Adhere to plant safety, quality, and hygiene standards during maintenance activities. Collaboration: Coordinate with production and engineering teams for maintenance planning. Ensure readiness of equipment for shift operations and minimize stoppages. Key Skills & Attributes: Hands-on experience with FMCG or industrial packaging machinery Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors Proactive and safety-conscious attitude Qualifications: ITI Fitter (Mechanical or Packaging Machinery) 1-4 years of relevant experience Preference will be given to candidates from FMCG packaging lines or high-speed filling/sealing machinery Apply Now: Send your updated resume to ramesh.chaudhary@astralltd.com or contact via WhatsApp at 8353912032
