ITI Fitter Apprentice

Job Summary:The ITI Fitter apprentice will be responsible for learning and assisting in fitting, assembling, and maintenance of mechanical components and machinery under the supervision of senior technicians. This role is designed to provide hands-on industry experience as part of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS). Key Responsibilities:Assist in fitting and assembling machine parts, structures, and equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Perform measurements, cutting, drilling, grinding, and fitting operations. Assist in routine maintenance and repair of machinery. Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of the work area. Learn and apply industry-standard tools and techniques. Support senior fitters in day-to-day mechanical work. Qualifications & Skills:Education: ITI in Fitter trade from a recognized institute. Experience: Freshers are eligible . Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and measuring instruments. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. Physically fit to handle workshop tasks. Training Details (as per NAPS):On-the-job training in mechanical fitting/welder operations. Exposure to industrial safety practices. Learning preventive and breakdown maintenance. Monthly stipend as per NAPS norms. Stipend & Benefits:Stipend as per NAPS guidelines. On-the-job skill development.
