ITAM - SAM - Lead

As an ITAM Lead, your role will involve overseeing the lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance and optimal usage. You will be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software assets, ensuring license compliance, and managing renewals. Additionally, you will develop and enforce IT asset policies, standards, and procedures, collaborating with procurement and finance teams for cost-effective IT asset investments. Key Responsibilities: - Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM), including Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM). - Experience in software license compliance, audits, and customer handling. - Familiarity with the ITIL framework and IT service management best practices. - Hands-on experience with ITAM tools such as Certero, ServiceNow, and Flexera. - Ability to analyze IT asset data to optimize costs and improve utilization. - Manage software assets in relation to the ITAM lifecycle for assigned products/services and geographies, working towards consistent global coverage and responsibility. - Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and track usage against purchased licenses to prevent over- or under-usage. - Continuously evaluate and improve SAM processes, implementing tools and technologies to automate workflows and enhance efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Asset Management. - Strong understanding of ITAM processes, compliance, and audits. - Proficiency in ITIL framework and IT service management practices. - Hands-on experience with ITAM tools like Certero, ServiceNow, and Flexera. - Ability to analyze IT asset data for cost optimization and utilization improvement.,
