IT Technician

As an IT Technician at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient IT operations across the office. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing and configuring Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications. - Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. - Maintaining local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, and related infrastructure. - Developing and maintaining internal websites and web applications using Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Providing technical support to employees, both on-site and remotely. - Managing backups, software updates, and data integrity. - Maintaining inventory and handling the configuration of office equipment. To excel in this role, you should have: - Proven experience in IT support, networking, and software installation. - Proficiency in Java, web design, and development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Strong knowledge of Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. - Experience with networking protocols and LAN management. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred qualifications include IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+), familiarity with cybersecurity practices, and cloud services.
