About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Executive to join our dynamic team at BotLab Dynamics. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our users experiencing technical issues related to hardware, software, or network systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless IT operations by providing prompt and effective support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The IT Support Executive will work closely with end-users to resolve technical problems, facilitate system updates, and ensure the overall stability and security of our IT infrastructure. Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Prior experience in a similar IT support role is highly preferred, demonstrating proficiency in handling end-user technical issues. Candidates must have a solid understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, and common software applications such as Google Workspace, Office 365, and other productivity tools. Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including protocols and troubleshooting techniques, is essential. Strong remote support skills, coupled with excellent communication abilitiesboth verbal and writtenare critical for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to support requests received via phone, email, or ticketing systems, ensuring adherence to established SLAs.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for hardware, software, and network-related issues encountered by users.
- Perform basic diagnostics to identify root causes of problems and implement appropriate solutions to restore normal operations.
- Assist users with software installations, configurations, updates, and license management.
- Reset passwords, unlock user accounts, and handle other user account management tasks following standard procedures.
- Document all support activities meticulously, including troubleshooting steps taken and solutions provided, for future reference and reporting.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues, share knowledge, and improve support processes and workflows.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends, software updates, and security patches to enhance support quality.
- Ensure a positive user experience by delivering courteous, professional, and effective technical assistance.
- Manage IT support tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary, and generate weekly or monthly reports for management review.
