Description
As part of the AMS (Application Management Services) cloud Engineering/operations team at Oracle Health & Applications Infrastructure, we are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the team in Oracle India. Your role will be pivotal in driving product development, product strategy, and Cloud Operations for Oracle Health, focused on building a cutting-edge platform that supports modernized, automated healthcare. This entrepreneurial endeavor requires someone with a strong leadership track record who can effectively manage tactical and strategic challenges. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams globally will be essential to ensure operational excellence and innovation. You will be responsible for managing a 24x7 support team and leading subject matter experts in infrastructure and SaaS operations, ensuring service level agreements are met through Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management. Your role will involve overseeing day-to-day SaaS applications availability, SLA management, and problem/change management, as well as participating in audits and ensuring compliance with security standards. Additionally, you will work closely with the product/security team to resolve security vulnerabilities and implement Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery strategies. To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree with equivalent experience and have at least 15 years of solid experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, and SaaS operations. Your background should demonstrate expertise in managing engineering and operations organizations, as well as a track record of successfully leading cloud-based service delivery organizations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with diverse teams, and you should have experience in hiring, engaging, and retaining high-performance teams. Your responsibilities will include driving technology transformation to deliver SaaS solutions with a customer-focused approach, implementing best-in-class infrastructure engineering operations, and promoting automation and continuous improvements within the team. You will be expected to architect cloud infrastructure, identify opportunities for consolidation and cost savings, and ensure overall system stability through proactive maintenance. Leading and developing a high-caliber team of engineers, fostering innovation and growth, and delivering on organizational goals will be key aspects of your role. In addition to technical expertise in cloud engineering and operations, you should have a solid background in Windows/Linux/Unix, web technologies, networking, database technologies, and storage/network management. Experience with fault-tolerant, highly available systems, and familiarity with cloud computing concepts and technologies are essential. Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, ITIL, or others related to cloud, security, and operations will be beneficial in demonstrating your qualifications for this role.
