IT Print Engineer

As a Print Engineer at GiGa-Ops Global Solutions, your role will involve installing, configuring, and maintaining printing equipment and software. You will troubleshoot and resolve printer connectivity issues, perform regular maintenance checks on all printing devices, and manage inventory of printer supplies and consumables. Additionally, you will assist users with printer-related queries, document processes, and provide technical support to end-users regarding printing tasks. Collaboration with IT teams, training staff on proper printing usage, analyzing printer performance, recommending improvements, and implementing security measures to protect printing systems will also be part of your responsibilities. You will maintain compliance with company policies, coordinate with vendors for repair and maintenance services, monitor printer usage, generate reports for management, and act as a liaison between users and technical teams for printer issues. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in IT or related field. - Proven experience as an IT Print Engineer or similar role. - Strong knowledge of printer hardware and software. - Familiarity with network configuration and protocols. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Experience with customer service and support roles. - Ability to document processes clearly and accurately. - Strong time management and organizational abilities. - Attention to detail and proactive approach to work. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Valid certification in IT-related disciplines is a plus. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies. - Hands-on experience with print management software. - Willingness to learn new skills and technologies. - Understanding of security practices in IT environments.
