Job Description

Develop and maintain the tools and processes that automate technical systems, ensuring consistency and reliability Define and leverage business-focused KPI (Key performance indicators) to continuously monitor and improve development and operational performance Work closely with software development and support teams to ensure changes in software are smoothly integrated and deployed for users. Investigate and suggest new ways to make the software setup and updates more efficient and dependable. Create a pro-active support mindset where the operations team is identifying and resolving issues before they are experienced by the customers. Work with the L3 and L2 vendor partners to continuously improve the development and support environment by leveraging AI into the development and support processes. Coordinate between multiple departments to ensure smooth software releases, minimizing downtime or disruptions. Increase operational efficiencies by establishing a strong set of KPIs to govern & run the operations Stay updated on trends to keep the tech environment advanced and efficient Basic Requirements Basic Qualifications Education: BS degree in Computer Science and/or related field Experience: 7+ years of professional work experience in IT preferably in Oracle Applications/ERP/Cloud roles. At least 2+ years of experience of managing a DevOps team. Ability to work on late shifts (14:30-22:30) to cover business needs Behavioral Characteristics/Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive & demonstrates independent thinking and problem-solving ability Ability to think strategically and suggest creative solutions Passionate about customer satisfaction and learning about the business Passionate about evolving technology and promoting automation & AI capabilities for IT and business efficiencies Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with business contacts, IT developers, and external partners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
