IT Operation

As an Onsite Support Engineer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the day-to-day IT operations of the Client office. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring Fortinet Firewall: Analyzing security alerts, reviewing logs, updating rules, and blocking Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to maintain network security. - Managing Endpoint Security & Antivirus/EDR/SIEM: Deploying, configuring, and monitoring EDR/Antivirus/SIEM solutions to ensure client systems are updated and secure. - Handling Network Administration: Configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and UTM devices, and resolving network-related issues. - Performing Linux & Windows System Administration: Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows servers, managing user accounts, file systems, backups, and performance tuning. - Managing Virtualization & Hypervisor: Ensuring efficient resource allocation and system stability in a hypervisor environment. - Assisting in Cloud Services (AWS) management: Including security monitoring, access control, and networking. - Conducting Backup & Recovery procedures: Verifying backups, performing disaster recovery, and troubleshooting system failures. - Providing Tally ERP Support: Troubleshooting Tally ERP-related system and network issues. - Offering IT & Desktop Support: Resolving end-user system crashes, software issues, and network connectivity problems. - Handling Printer & Peripheral Support: Troubleshooting basic printer issues and maintaining scanners. - Managing Video Conferencing Support: Ensuring proper functioning of VC systems for company meetings. - Assisting in Security & Compliance tasks: Conducting vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and implementing security policies. - Monitoring & Maintaining systems: Monitoring internet leased lines, server performance, and storage utilization. The onsite support resource will also be responsible for the upkeep of deployed systems, including daily status checks, configuration verification, firmware upgrades, fault handling, and system recovery actions where necessary. Additionally, the resource will ensure regular health checks, configuration updates, and firmware updates as per the planned schedule and security guidelines. Minimum Skillset Requirement for Onsite Support Ahmedabad (Gift City): - Minimum 3 years of onsite experience in the relevant field with a focus on Firewall management. - Valid CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) certification. - Minimum 1 year of experience on offered Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW).
