Job summary

Responsibilities

Hardware and software support:
Install, update, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
Network administration:
Manage and troubleshoot network-related issues, including LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, and firewall settings. Maintain and support network-connected devices, such as intercom phones and audio-video equipment.
Server and system maintenance:
Perform periodic maintenance on network servers and administer system backups for stand-alone and networked computers.
Security management:
Install and update antivirus clients, manage access control systems for physical security, and monitor system health to identify potential security threats.
User management:
Administer user accounts and permissions across various software and network resources.
Troubleshooting and support:
Provide timely and effective resolution to a wide range of computer and network system-related issues raised by internal users.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with other IT teams and departments to address complex technical problems and support new infrastructure projects.
Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date documentation for all IT infrastructure, systems, and procedures.

Qualifications and skills

Proven experience in IT administration and network support.
Strong working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware.
Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and managing server environments.
Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience with backup and data restoration procedures.
Knowledge of antivirus software and network security practices.
Ability to install and maintain specialized client software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
