It Infrastructure Manager

Job Description IT Infrastructure Required Skills :

• Managing the day to day operational tasks within the IT Infrastructure team.
• Must have intricate knowledge of operating systems, server management, Firewall, Switches and Network infrastructure. They should be familiar with operating systems like Microsoft Windows and Linux and have a deep understanding of hardware and software components.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain email servers and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Google Workspace).
• Implement and manage email security measures, including spam filters, antivirus, encryption, and authentication protocols like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Strong understanding of email systems, protocols (SMTP, POP, IMAP), and enterprise email platforms.
• Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and distribution lists. Provide technical assistance to users for email-related problems, such as configuration issues and access problems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth email operations.
• Develop and enforce email policies and procedures for effective and secure communication. Work with other IT teams to integrate email systems with other applications and improve the overall infrastructure.
• Managing the organizations network, including the physical and virtual networks, network security, and ensuring that data can be transmitted efficiently across the organization.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining effective data protection services, including security, backups and disaster recovery.
• Experience with Hybrid environments including on-premises and Cloud Services.
• Managing cloud services, ensuring that data stored in the cloud is secure, and optimizing cloud resources.
• Manage the software that runs on the organization’s IT systems. This includes operating systems like Microsoft Windows and Linux, applications, and other software that supports business operations.
• Managing data storage systems, including ensuring that data is stored securely, backed up, and can be recovered if needed.
• Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software and operating systems.
• Coordinating technology installations, upgrades and maintenance.
