Job Description: ITI Services & Maintenance Technician – Electric Moped / Electric 2-Wheeler Job Summary :

The ITI EV Services & Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing, diagnosing issues, and performing maintenance/repair work on electric mopeds and electric 2-wheeler scooters. The technician ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability of the vehicles by conducting repairs on mechanical, electrical, and battery systems.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics - Perform routine servicing of electric scooter along with inspecting battery condition, connectors, wiring harness, and controllers.

2. Electrical & Mechanical Repairs - Repair, replace or troubleshoot components such as motors, controllers, chargers, batteries, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.

3. Preventive Maintenance - Perform periodic maintenance as per OEM schedules.

4. Customer Support & Field Service - Attend customer complaints and provide on-site service when needed.

5. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain service records, job cards, checklists, and repair reports.

Skills & Competencies Required

1. Strong knowledge of electric 2-wheeler components (battery, motor, controller, sensors). 2. Understanding of basic electrical concepts (voltage, current, continuity, polarity).

3.Ability to use multimeters, diagnostic tools, and service applications.

4.Knowledge of mechanical parts, brakes, suspension, and frame assembly.  Good communication and customer interaction skills.

5.Problem-solving ability and quick diagnosis skills.

6.Attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.

7.Ability to work independently.

Qualification & Requirements: 1.

ITI in Electronics / MMV / EV Technician.

Diploma candidates may also apply.

Basic computer and mobile app usage skills.

Physically fit to handle tools and parts.

Willingness to travel for field repairs.

Experience in servicing electric scooters is an added advantage.
