Job Description

The IT Executive is responsible for maintaining and supporting the hotel’s IT infrastructure, systems, and networks to ensure smooth daily operations. This includes managing hardware, software, networking, data security, PMS (Property Management System), POS, IDS Software, and other hospitality-related applications. The role ensures minimal downtime, data protection, and efficient technical support for all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, servers, and systems.
  • Provide technical support to staff across departments for IT-related issues.
  • Manage and troubleshoot PMS, POS, accounting, and reservation systems (e.g., IDS, Opera, etc.).
  • Ensure data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity measures are in place.
  • Monitor and maintain IT assets, licenses, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT hardware/software support.
  • Implement system updates, patches, and upgrades as required.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and hotel operating procedures.
  • Support CCTV, biometric systems, telephone systems, Wi-Fi, and other operational technology.
  • Generate IT reports and assist management in IT budgeting and procurement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support/administration (hospitality industry experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), and firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with hotel applications (IDS, Opera, POS, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide quick resolutions during system downtime.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
