Job Description

The IT Executive is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting all hotel IT systems to ensure smooth operations across Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Finance, and Management departments. The role includes resolving technical issues, maintaining networks, ensuring data security, and supporting hospitality-specific software like PMS, POS, IDS, and other operational applications.

Key Responsibilities1. System & Software Management

  • Manage and support Property Management Systems (PMS) like IDS, Opera, or eZee PMS.
  • Maintain POS systems used in restaurants, bars, and banquets.
  • Monitor and update hotel operating systems, email services, and Microsoft tools.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hotel software and hardware.
  • Maintain guest-facing technology like IPTV, Wi-Fi portals, loyalty apps, etc.

2. Network & Infrastructure Management

  • Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and access points.
  • Ensure smooth uptime, connectivity, and bandwidth allocation across the property.
  • Manage firewall, VPN, and data security policies.
  • Assist in CCTV system monitoring and maintenance.

3. Guest Technology Support

  • Provide quick support to guests for internet connectivity, smart TV issues, and digital services.
  • Ensure Wi-Fi performance across all guest rooms and public areas.

4. IT Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide daily technical support for all departments.
  • Log and resolve IT tickets; escalate if needed.
  • Maintain printers, biometric systems, laptops, desktops, and conference room equipment.

5. Data Security & Backup

  • Implement and monitor data backup schedules.
  • Ensure antivirus protection and system security measures.
  • Maintain cybersecurity best practices and follow company IT policies.

6. Asset Management

  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment, licenses, and consumables.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs, AMC, and procurement.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare IT reports, downtime logs, and system performance summaries.
  • Maintain documentation for network diagrams, SOPs, and configurations.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in hotel IT operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IDS, PMS, POS, and hotel systems.
  • Good understanding of networking, switching, firewalls, and Wi-Fi technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination with hotel departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
