IT Executive - hardware & Networking

Role Overview: As the IT Executive - Hardware & Networking, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include ensuring seamless IT operations through effective installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of hardware, software, and network systems. Additionally, you will handle vendor management and documentation of IT processes and records. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Windows Server infrastructure by installing, configuring, and managing different versions of Windows Server operating systems, performing updates, patches, and backups, monitoring server performance, and resolving hardware and software issues. - Configure and maintain firewalls to ensure network security, monitor firewall logs, respond to security alerts and incidents, and enforce firewall policies and access controls. - Install, configure, and manage ePBX systems, troubleshoot telephony and communication issues, and support integration with other IT systems. - Design, install, and manage LAN infrastructure, configure and troubleshoot network devices, provide remote support to end-users, support desktop systems and applications, and manage online meetings and collaboration tools. - Install and configure operating systems and application software, diagnose and resolve hardware issues, maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and processes, manage relationships with IT vendors, provide general IT support to end-users, and stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience in managing Windows Server, firewalls, ePBX systems, LAN, and networking devices. - Strong knowledge of various operating systems and application software installation. - Experience with remote assistance tools and net meeting software. - Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication skills. - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA.
