Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Support and Services

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for computers, printers, servers, and other devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across all hospital departments.
  • Maintain IT inventory and ensure timely repair or replacement of equipment.
  • Implement IT policies and ensure proper data backup and security protocols.

2. Software and Application Management

  • Manage hospital management software (HMS), billing software, and other digital applications.
  • Install, configure, and update required software systems.
  • Support staff with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other productivity tools.

3. Website Management

  • Update and maintain hospital website, including content, images, and announcements.
  • Ensure website is user-friendly, updated, and aligned with hospital branding.
  • Coordinate with developers or hosting providers for technical improvements or troubleshooting.

4. Graphic Designing and Digital Media

  • Design posters, banners, flyers, and brochures for hospital events, awareness programs, and internal communication.
  • Create digital content for social media, notice boards, and email campaigns.
  • Maintain hospital branding and ensure all visual content is professional and consistent.

5. Data Security and Compliance

  • Maintain confidentiality of hospital and patient information.
  • Implement cybersecurity practices and monitor for threats.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and government regulations.

6. Staff Training and Support

  • Conduct IT orientation or training sessions for hospital staff.
  • Guide staff in using software, IT systems, and digital tools effectively.
  • Provide support in digital communication, reporting, and document management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT support, web management, or graphic designing (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience in website management (CMS, WordPress, HTML basics).
  • Knowledge of graphic designing tools (Photoshop, CorelDraw, Canva, Illustrator).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software.
  • Good understanding of networking, servers, and basic cybersecurity practices.
