IT Coordinator

As an IT Coordination & Vendor Liaison Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders and external IT vendors under contract. You will be tasked with ensuring efficient communication, task delegation, and timely resolution of all IT-related requirements within the operational scope of the organization. Your role will involve proactive engagement with third-party IT service providers to coordinate project execution, such as website development, infrastructure rollouts, system integrations, and routine upgrades. It will be essential to establish clarity in task ownership, follow through on timelines, and maintain accountability on deliverables. You will be responsible for translating internal requests into clear, actionable briefs for relevant vendors, ensuring that the appropriate providers are engaged and that all technical prerequisites are met. While maintaining a proficient understanding of IT systems and web technologies, you will guide task prioritization without direct implementation. Monitoring and tracking ongoing IT projects, providing status updates to management, and ensuring project milestones are met will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will deliver concise reports on vendor performance, system updates, ongoing tasks, and strategic IT needs, serving as the IT touchpoint for non-technical team members. Maintaining accurate records of ongoing projects, vendor interactions, decisions made, and project timelines will be crucial. You will also assist in the enforcement and monitoring of IT policies, security protocols, and data protection standards through effective coordination with vendors and internal users. To excel in this role, you should possess skills in vendor management, IT fluency, project management acumen, communication excellence, problem-solving orientation, and a service-driven mindset. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT coordination, vendor management, or technology project support is required, preferably within a medium-sized organization or across a group structure with multiple business entities.
