Job Description

Familiarity with Data Management Standards
Ability to work with high volumes of detailed technical & business metadata.
Experience with documenting Data Element metadata (Business Elements vs. Technical Data Elements)
Experience with understanding how data transformations materialize and determine appropriate controls required to ensure high-level of data quality.
Ability to understand and document application and/or data element level flows (i.e., lineage).
Ability to analyze both Process and Datasets to identity meaningful actionable outcomes.
Understand and implement changes to business processes. Develop and influence business processes necessary to support data governance related outcomes.
Manage and influence across vertical organizations to achieve common objectives.
Intermediate to Expert level knowledge of MS products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Skype, & Outlook
Working knowledge of Metadata tools such as Collibra or equivalent.
Familiarity with Data Analytics / BI tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy etc.
Communication Skills:
Create both visually and verbally engaging informative materials for departmental leadership, business partners, executives, and stakeholders.
Ability to tailor communication of topics to various levels of the organization (e.g., technical audiences vs. business stakeholders).
Desired Skills (nice-to-have):
General knowledge of Banking industry.
