IT Business Analyst

Job description: As a Business Analyst at our Technology company based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, you will be responsible for gathering necessary specifications for the business by conducting market and competitor analysis. You will elicit and analyze business requirements and priorities using business value methods. Working closely with the Dev team, internal/external stakeholders, and the Client group, you will implement the requirements effectively. Your role will involve creating and modifying business and functional documents, conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings, and performing gap analysis/scope analysis/impact analysis on business processes using tools like UML and Flowcharts. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts, identifying processes and information technology required for recommendations, and performing user acceptance testing will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will manage projects, develop project plans, monitor performance, and stay updated on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Pre-Sales support activities will include demoing the solution, highlighting capabilities, discussing technical details, and developing various technical documentation. Required Candidate profile: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. - Strong in Techno-functional roles. - Experience in writing various technical documents such as BRD, FRS, SRS, Use Cases, user stories, SQL queries, and data analysis. - Client relationship skills with the ability to manage client expectations, recognize needs, and adapt to meet requirements. - Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to changing industry trends. - Highly organized with good time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong understanding of the industry and technology. - Attention to detail. - Proficient with Microsoft Office. - Patient and able to practice good phone and video call etiquette. - Self-starter who works well independently. - Ability to multitask.
