IT Automation Technician

As an IT Automation Technician at Area27, you will play a crucial role in providing world-class security and automation solutions to our customers in North-East India. Your responsibilities will include: - **Hardware Systems Installation & Maintenance:** - Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment - Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware failures and replace faulty components - Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices - **Network Implementation & Support:** - Install and configure LAN/WAN networks including routers, switches, and access points - Maintain network infrastructure and ensure optimal performance - Troubleshoot connectivity issues and network outages - **Security Systems Setup & Monitoring:** - Install and configure CCTV surveillance systems - Set up IP cameras, DVR/NVR devices, and monitoring software - Perform regular maintenance and ensure proper functioning of security equipment - **Electrical & Low Voltage Work:** - Install and maintain structured cabling systems (Cat5/Cat6) - Perform basic electrical work related to IT equipment and security systems - Test power supplies and electrical connections for IT and security infrastructure **Qualifications & Skills Required:** - **Educational Background:** - Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree/ ITI in Computer Science/Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or ITI in Computer Hardware & Networking, Diploma in Network Engineering - **Technical Skills:** - Proficiency in computer hardware architecture and troubleshooting - Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs) - Knowledge of CCTV system installation and configuration - Understanding of structured cabling standards and installation practices - Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems installation and configuration - Basic knowledge of electrical principles as applied to IT equipment At Area27, we pride ourselves on our technical expertise and exceptional customer experience.
