IT - Asset Reliability & Maintenance Expert

Role Overview: As an IT Asset Reliability & Maintenance Expert working in Pune, India, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of the maintenance application ecosystem. You specialize in SAP PM and oversee related satellite applications and reporting tools. Collaborating closely with maintenance teams, you leverage your IT and domain knowledge to maintain reliable operations and identify areas for improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the efficient functioning of the SAP PM system and satellite applications. - Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents, as well as coordinate problem resolution and address user requests. - Conduct regular system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance activities. - Provide user support and conduct training sessions. - Lead or assist in initiatives for deploying new tools or features. - Work with business teams to translate requirements into specifications. - Participate in digitalization and innovation projects, including GenAI. - Maintain documentation in adherence to internal standards. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical/functional role focusing on SAP PM and other satellite applications utilized in maintenance. - Proven involvement in maintenance transformation for large user bases. - Experience with international project work. - Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies is a plus. Additional Details: - Strong hands-on experience configuring SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), integrating with MM, FICO (QM & PP is a plus), and external applications. - Proficiency in SAP PM support and functional testing. - In-depth understanding of SAP PM master data and day-to-day maintenance activities. - Skills in setting up master data such as Functional Loc, BOMs, Task lists, measuring points, work centers, and maintenance plans. - Knowledge of maintenance processes like notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance, calibration, and refurbishment. - Familiarity with maintenance and reliability tools such as SAP APM. - Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging is advantageous. - SAP PM certification is a plus.
