IT Asset Management

Location: Vashi

The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of IT assets, including allocation, tracking, maintenance, and reporting. The role involves handling hardware inventory, managing rental and scrap assets, ensuring software license compliance, and organizing storeroom operations. Initially, asset records will be maintained manually, with future migration to an IT asset management tool.

1. Asset Allocation Assign IT assets to users and maintain allocation history.

2. Monthly Vendor Annexure Prepare and share monthly reports for rental IT assets with vendors.

3. IT Inventory Maintenance – Keep accurate records of laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, scanners, etc.

4. Scrap Management – Identify, tag, and manage obsolete/scrap IT materials.

5. Storeroom Management – Maintain proper arrangement and tagging of assets in the IT storeroom.

6. Stock Updates – Ensure real-time updates of IT stock availability.

7. Software License Management – Maintain and track software licenses and ensure renewal/compliance.

8. Manual Tracking to Tool Implementation – Start with manual record-keeping; gradually implement IT asset management software/tool.

9. Inward & Outward Logging – Maintain logs for incoming and outgoing IT assets (purchase, repair, return, etc.).
