IT Application Administrator/System Architect

As an Application Administrator/System Architect, your role involves evaluating, procuring, implementing, and managing software solutions to support the organization's IT infrastructure. You will need to balance technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to maintain and enhance the software ecosystem, license servers, and operational support functions effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Indirect Procurement Team to evaluate software compatibility with existing architecture. - Lead procurement, implementation, and support planning for various software solutions (SaaS, on-premise, and custom-developed tools). - Analyze software usage trends to manage license renewals, growth, and demand. - Manage and maintain license servers for software on Windows and Linux platforms. - Resolve issues related to servers, integrations, daemons, vendor daemons, license files, and system dependencies. - Create and manage AWS environments for tool implementations and hosting license servers. - Partner with stakeholders to identify strategic areas for system architecture enhancements. - Define priorities, establish timelines, and execute deliverables aligned with organizational goals. - Manage operational support requests from end users, including debugging, troubleshooting, and escalating issues. - Troubleshoot networked peripheral devices like printers. - Collaborate with IT teams for security patching, monitoring, and system issue resolution. - Work closely with vendors to ensure consistent service and support for IT applications. - Collaborate with internal IT teams to support and enhance existing systems and initiatives. - Demonstrate proficiency with command-line interfaces and FlexLM licensing tools. - Leverage software development knowledge to manage and integrate tools effectively. - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot SSO integrations using Azure to ensure secure authentication.
