IT Analyst Applications (Power Platform)

The incumbent would design, develop, and support applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) to enable business functions. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain MS Power Apps applications and Power Automate workflows to support business processes.
• Participate in requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement scalable software architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using MS Power Platform environments.
• Provide L3 support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues proactively.
• Work collaboratively with project teams and provide regular updates to technical leads.
• Prepare fit-for-purpose documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in project planning and delivery meetings with stakeholders.

What you will have

• Education: bachelors degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT application development and support with strong software engineering fundamentals.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong experience in MS Power Apps and Power Automate development.
• Hands-on experience with MS Azure, Dataverse, and relational databases (SQL/Oracle).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and agile development practices

Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years in IT application development and support.
• At least 3-4 years of professional programming experience with MS Power Platform and Azure environment.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and coding best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar standard development processes and security practices (preferred).

Additional Information:

• Work Timings: 01:00 Noon -10:00PM IST
• This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
