Ireland/UK Audit

You should have the ability to follow audit test plans and understand the risks associated with potential mischarges. Analyzing cash flows and balance sheets of a firm will be a key responsibility. You will also be tasked with measuring and communicating the levels of financial risk taken on by an organization. A working knowledge of gathering, organizing, formatting, and preparing financial data in spreadsheets or specialized software like Mercia is required. You will play a crucial role in helping management and organizational leadership understand the financial risks or benefits of specific financial decisions of the firm. A good understanding of accounting and financial controls in and around accounting systems is essential. You will ensure that the organization implements best practices in creating, storing, and accessing financial information. Studying and improving workflows for reporting and managing the finances of the firm will be part of your duties. You will examine records to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and create detailed reports on audit findings. Drafting asset utilization reports and audit results for management will also be within your scope. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are a necessity for this role. A minimum of 3 years of experience in UK/Ireland Audit is required. Candidates with experience working with the OmniPro Audit template will have an added advantage. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, addressing their audit needs, and providing strategic advice will be crucial. You will oversee multiple audit assignments from planning to finalization, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality work. Additionally, you will lead a team of junior auditors, provide guidance, review their work, and ensure their professional development.
