Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for IPR Associates located in Hubli, Karnataka India. IPR Associates will be responsible for managing intellectual property rights-related tasks, including conducting research, drafting and reviewing documents, assisting in filing processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to provide guidance on intellectual property matters.

Handle end to end trademark and copyright matters including Drafting, filing, prosecution, oppositions, and renewals. Conduct availability searches, prepare legal opinions on registrability, infringement and maintain client IP Portfolios. Assist in brand protection and enforcement by drafting cease-and-desist notice and preparing pleadings for IP disputes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) laws and regulations, including drafting and filing processes.
• Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and interpretation of related laws and case precedents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing client briefs and reports.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently under tight timelines.
• Relevant experience in IPR law or similar legal domains, and a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Familiarity with the use of legal databases and related tools.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain client confidentiality.
