Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for an IPDRG (Inpatient Prospective Payment System Diagnosis-Related Groups) role. The IPDRG Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks handling medical coding, auditing medical records, ensuring accurate DRG assignment, analyzing data, and implementing compliance standards. This role entails close collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure proper documentation and accurate coding practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Coding and DRG assignment
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and regulations
• Proficiency in data analysis and documentation auditing
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and teams
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field
• Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent
