IoT Solutions Engineer

Role Overview: Zenatix, a leading provider of IoT-based automation and monitoring solutions acquired by Schneider Electric, is seeking an IoT Solutions Engineer to join their team. As part of the Schneider Electric family, Zenatix focuses on delivering energy efficiency, temperature compliance, and asset management solutions for commercial buildings in India. The role involves understanding Zenatix's hardware and IoT systems, conducting site surveys, and coordinating with the operations team for project deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Understand Zenatix's hardware & IoT-based system for IoT-BMS projects. - Perform site surveys based on given use cases and coordinate site visits for project scoping. - Ensure proper filling of survey forms/checklists and validate data with the site maintenance team or engineers before processing it to the Solutions Specialist. - Support the operations team in identifying site scope, preparing planning documents, and updating plans for on-site execution post-PO receipt. - Coordinate with operations teams for solutions/BOQ deployment, verify planning documents as per the project plan, and report to the manager. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation. - 5 years of hands-on experience in BMS/automation systems/IoT-based systems. - Experience with site surveys, BOQ, and scope estimation for BMS/automation projects. - Additional experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS is preferred. - Knowledge of field instruments such as DDC controllers, PLCs, sensors, control valves, VFDs, etc. - Familiarity with communication protocols like RS485 (Modbus), BACnet, SNMP, LAN, Ethernet, etc. - Strong computer skills and proficiency in English communication. - Basic understanding of HVAC equipment is optional/preferable.
