About Evolve Evolve is on a mission to build digital solutions designed to improve mental health for users around the world. We leverage world-class design with AI to act as a coach for users' self-care and mental health. The Evolve app is used by over 1.5 million people worldwide and has been awarded by Apple & Google for its quality and design. It was most recently a finalist for the Apple Design Award 2025 and showcased at WWDC! The Role We're looking for a passionate iOS Engineer to join our growing team and help build the next phase of the Evolve app and other solutions. You’ll be working directly with the founders with lots of autonomy on the product and codebase. You’ll grow faster than at any large corporate or startup! You’ll also get direct exposure to the Apple Developer Center and a chance to work with Apple employees. What You'll Do Build and enhance core features of the Evolve app using SwiftUI Collaborate closely with our product and design teams to create seamless user experiences Implement new mental health tools and features that directly impact user wellbeing Optimize app performance and ensure smooth user interactions Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews Contribute to technical architecture decisions as we scale Work in a fast-paced startup environment where your contributions are immediately visible What We're Looking For 2-5 years of iOS development experience Strong proficiency in SwiftUI (this is essential - we're 100% SwiftUI) Experience with Swift Data for local data persistence and management Solid understanding of iOS frameworks and Apple's design guidelines Experience with Instruments and improving app performance & crashes Experience with REST APIs and backend integration Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows Passion for creating products that positively impact mental health Startup mentality - you thrive in dynamic environments and can wear multiple hats Nice to Have Knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines and Accessibility best practices Background in health tech or consumer wellness apps Understanding of mental health principles or psychology Experience with App Store submission and review processes Strong understanding of Apple’s latest announcements at WWDC ‘25 Why Join Evolve?
