Role Overview

iOS Developer with experience in Federated Learning, privacy-preserving AI, or on-device ML

mobile development, AI integration, and user privacy

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a

  high-performance iOS application

  integrating AI-driven features. 
• Implement

  Federated Learning frameworks

  to enable on-device model training and updates without centralizing user data. 
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to optimize

  on-device inference and training pipelines (Core ML, TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile)

  . 
• Ensure

  HIPAA-compliant data privacy and security protocols

  within the iOS ecosystem. 
• Build

  real-time synchronization mechanisms

  between mobile clients and backend FL infrastructure. 
• Contribute to

  CI/CD pipelines, app store deployment, and versioned releases

  . 
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate health and AI requirements into seamless mobile user experiences. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

  . 

• 2+ years of iOS development experience

  using Swift/SwiftUI and Xcode. 
• Strong understanding of

  Federated Learning concepts, edge AI, or privacy-preserving ML techniques (e.g., differential privacy, secure aggregation)

  . 
• Hands-on experience with

  Core ML, TensorFlow Lite, or PyTorch Mobile

  . 
• Familiarity with

  Apple’s privacy guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and secure data storage (Keychain, Secure Enclave)

  . 
• Solid experience with

  RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC integrations

  . 
• Proficient in

  Git, CI/CD tools, and App Store release management

  . 

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  FL frameworks (TensorFlow Federated, OpenFL, Flower, or PySyft)

  . 
• Knowledge of

  wearables integration (Apple Watch, HealthKit, CareKit, ResearchKit)

• Experience in
