Portfolio investment and management (Investment Manger cum Business Analyst role) Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the incubator's and leadership teams objectives, support the growth of startups and to maximize returns Evaluate investment opportunities, analyse business models, start-ups or ideas and its market potential Oversee the investment portfolio of the incubator, including due diligence, deal sourcing, and Manage relationships with investors, entrepreneurs, and other Build a thriving eco-system of high potential start-ups with all stakeholders including successfulentrepreneurs, expert mentors, investors to make the University incubator top choice of incubators in India. Set-up required support and partnerships for the incubator start-ups (including but not limited to with tech platforms, for IP support, company incorporation etc.) Advise start-ups on business strategy refinement and growth Assist Start-ups in raising funds, follow-up rounds and assist in exits for university or private investments approved by the Investment Committee Manage the pitching of start-ups process end-to-end with the Investment Committee and designated investors / experts Prepare and present investment reports and updates to the management team and Monitor market trends and provide insights on potential investment opportunities or Collaborate with the incubator's management team to align investments with the overall strategic goals. Qualifications: A degree in finance, business administration, or a related field Minimum 7 years of proven experience in investment management or venture capital Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and the unique challenges faced by early-stage companies Key Skills: Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Innovative thinking with a willingness to take calculated risks
