Investment Banking Director, Banker Mergers & Acquisitions

As a senior level Banker at Citi, your role involves providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. You will leverage your past investment banking experience to enhance Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) execution and contribute to building Citi's franchise. Key Responsibilities: - Meet revenue and financial goals by establishing and maintaining a pipeline of episodic deals - Ensure proposed client solutions meet internal risk and return standards and anticipate future market changes - Identify and anticipate various risks such as industry, portfolio, diversification, sovereign, commercial, and currency risks - Mentor junior Bankers, execute staffing models, and build client relationships by providing sophisticated financial solutions tailored to their needs - Serve as an expert on regulatory, financial, and complex strategic issues related to corporate finance transactions - Assess risk in business decisions with a focus on reputation, compliance, and ethical conduct Qualifications: - 15+ years of relevant experience - Experience in people management - Bachelors degree in finance or closely related areas preferred - Masters degree in business administration preferred - Experience working in investment banking institutions - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment In terms of education, a Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience is required, while a Masters degree is preferred.
